The Public Sector in A Pandemic

A pre-event panel discussion
Nov. 18 | 11:00 - 11:45 a.m.

Join us for a pre-event panel discussion with this year's individual awardees that will focus on how the pandemic is impacting local governments and school districts and what that tells us about the future of our governmental structures and staffing. Sign up for this event when you register for the Salute below. While individual registration for the Salute is free, event sponsors, virtual "table" sponsors, and individual registrants who pay $40 or more when registering for the Salute will have access to this panel discussion.

Join the Wisconsin Policy Forum for our annual Salute to Local Government awards! We’ll recognize Wisconsin local governments and school districts for innovation, partnership and cooperation, as well as individuals in the public sector for excellence and lifetime achievement. This year’s awards slate also includes two new categories to highlight the unprecedented pandemic-related challenges facing local governments and school districts.

The Salute will be held virtually on November 18. While the pandemic required that we reimagine this event, it’s more important than ever to recognize local governments, school districts, and individual public sector employees who are excelling in these challenging times. We’re also pleased to announce that our keynote speaker this year is Milwaukee County Executive David Crowley, who will highlight his efforts to achieve racial equity in Wisconsin’s largest county.

Thanks to our sponsors!
