The Wisconsin Policy Forum’s 2022 Annual Meeting was held on February 3rd, 2022. In light of the surge in COVID-19 cases, and after careful consideration, we decided to hold the meeting virtually.
We installed our officers and our very impressive slate of new and re-elected members of our Board of Directors.
Our program explored the use of federal relief and infrastructure funds by local governments in Wisconsin. Forum researchers provided an overview of the federal dollars flowing into the state, and then we convened a panel of local government leaders to learn more about the opportunities and challenges posed by these unprecedented sums of federal money. Our panelists included Eric Genrich, Mayor, City of Green Bay, Marcelia Nicholson, Chairwoman, Milwaukee County Board, and Josh Schoemann, County Executive, Washington County.
