The Wisconsin Policy Forum is seeking applications for a graduate research intern for Fall 2018. The intern will support our education research that is directly relevant to key public policy issues confronting local and state government bodies and agencies throughout Wisconsin.
Education research is one of the Forum’s main research areas. Throughout the fall, the intern will be immersed in the research and analysis process, helping to develop research products using qualitative and quantitative methods. Specifically, the intern will work on K-12 public schooling reports that will be published at the end of 2018.
While they are with us, interns are considered members of the WPF team; are supervised and guided by senior staff; and have opportunities to participate in WPF functions, attend staff meetings, and draw upon WPF’s network and expertise.
Ideal candidates are required to have strong Excel skills and experience. Excellent writing skills a plus.

Finalists will be invited to interview in person or remotely as schedules and logistics allow. Interns will be selected and notified no later than August 31, 2018.
Graduate credit is available for this Fall internship with the following schedule: 10 hours per week = 1 credit, 15 hours/week = 2 credits, 20 hours/week = 3 credits. Flexible hours and scheduling are available. Please indicate your requirements and availability in your cover letter.
