Join the Wisconsin Policy Forum for our 31st Annual Salute to Local Government awards! Our celebration recognizes the positive impact that public sector ingenuity and excellence have on taxpayers and communities throughout Wisconsin. Award categories showcase local governments and school districts for innovative problem-solving, efforts to advance racial equity, and intergovernmental and public-private cooperation. We also honor individuals in the public sector for excellence and lifetime achievement and we have added a new award this year in partnership with UW-Madison’s La Follette School of Public Affairs to recognize innovative performance in state government.

Our keynote speaker this year is Bob Lang, the longtime director of Wisconsin’s Legislative Fiscal Bureau.
